Description

A very rare 18th century Chelsea porcelain coffee cup from The MacKenna Collection; of bucket shape with a loop handle, painted in green camaieu with a European landscape with a gnarled trunk in the foreground, a central thatched building with chimneys and a bare cross behind, and beyond that a small town with a church, possible ruins with trees scattered throughout, the interior with a smaller vignette of a three rural buildings behind trees and a stream, all below a gilt dentil rim

Excellent condition - some crackling of the glaze
